The Legend of Hei Face Match: Meet Your Twin

A little cat spirit who lost his forest and drifted into the middle of the conflict between humans and spirits. In cat form he's heart-assault cute, and in boy form he's surprisingly strong. All he wants is a place to belong.

The strongest enforcer on the human side. He crosses China on foot and by raft and with infinite patience, with the cat spirit he kidnapped (?) in tow. A deadpan teacher and an unbeatable fighter, and the road trip changes them both.

A spirit who watched forests fall to human cities and decided to take one back by any means. He isn't the villain of his own story. The tragedy is that he has a point.

A cheerful island spirit who became the little cat's friend the moment he arrived. Proof that even in a story about war, some kids just want to show you around the neighborhood.

Fengxi's taciturn comrade with mist-colored skin and unshakable loyalty. He follows the plan to the end, even the parts he privately wishes weren't there.

The tiger-striped senior of the spirit crew. Big and gruff, and softer on the kitten than he'd ever admit. He's the muscle for a cause he only half believes in.

An elder of the guildhall who has watched every war between the two worlds. He speaks rarely and judges precisely. He alone remembers what everyone else chose to forget.
